What eWaste do we dispose of?
At TIMG we securely dispose of a range of electronics and eWaste, ensuring total data destruction across all devices.
Desktops, Laptops, and Mobile Devices
Decommissioned computers and mobile devices can be a major security risk. We will ensure sensitive data is securely destroyed. Usable devices can be refreshed and reused.
Hard Drives and Digital Storage Devices
All data-bearing devices such as hard drives, USB drives, and memory cards will be securely shredded, ensuring your data is completely destroyed.

Our eWaste disposal process
Secure collection
We collect your eWaste and unused electronics and securely transport them to our reinforced facilities.
Sorting and categorisation
All eWaste is sorted based on type, condition, functionality, and material.
Data destruction
Usable IT assets which have been allocated for redeployment have their data digitally erased, while data-bearing hardware such as servers and hard drives are securely shredded.
Redeployment
Depending on your requirements, functioning devices which have had their data digitally erased can be refreshed and prepared for reuse.

Ngaire is the IT Manager at a large business.
Every three years, the business upgrades staff laptops. At the same time, they have recently rebuilt their server infrastructure and now are left with a stack of old servers full of sensitive, confidential information as well as old racks and cables.
Ngaire knows that digital erasure is secure, certified, and reliable, so she wants the laptops to be scrubbed of data and reused (and she may receive a rebate). To comply with compliance and audit requirements, the old servers need to be certified as destroyed.
She contacts TIMG to handle the disposal. TIMG arranges the nationwide collection and secure transportation to one of our facilities. Description, serial numbers and weight is collected on arrival and confirmed with Ngaire. TIMG sort and process the eWaste according to Ngaire’s requirements.
Secure collection
TIMG collects the laptops, servers, racks, and cables from Ngaire's office.
Sorting and categorisation
The hardware is sorted at our secure facility, with serial numbers and other important information recorded.
Data destruction
The servers are securely shredded. The functioning laptops have their data digitally erased. The cables are removed and sorted.
Redeployment
The data-scrubbed laptops are refreshed and repurposed according to Ngaire's requirements.
