Our processes ensure that your eWaste and IT devices are securely transported and all data is completely destroyed.

STEP 1
Get in touch
Contact our team of experts to discuss what IT devices you want to dispose of and whether you would like to opt for physical or digital data destruction.
We can dispose of a wide range of IT assets including laptops, computers, mobile phones, digital storage devices, servers, and more.
STEP 2
Secure Collection
Our team will drop off secure eWaste disposal bins or boxes depending on your requirements. Once you have packed your IT devices, our team will return to lock your bins/boxes and transport them to our secure facilities.
TIMG’s New Zealand-wide logistics ensure that no matter where you are, our team is not far away.
STEP 3
Sorting and Categorisation
When your eWaste and IT devices arrive at our premises, they are sorted and categorised based on device type, condition, functionality, and material.
Throughout this process your eWaste never leaves our premises, and is handled only by our experienced, security-vetted team.
STEP 4
Data Destruction
Data destruction methods will depend on the device type and your specific requirements.
Any data-bearing hardware such as hard drives will be securely shredded, thereby completely destroying any data.
Devices in good working order that have been allocated for redeployment will have their data digitally erased using industry-standard technology, ensuring no sensitive information remains.
STEP 5
Redeployment or Disposal
Any functioning devices which have had their data securely erased will be refreshed and prepared for reuse.
End-of-life IT devices will be disassembled and the materials sent to our downstream recycling partners.
At TIMG we endeavour to divert as much waste from landfill as is practical, while still ensuring total data security for our customers.
STEP 6
Certificate of Destruction
Once your eWaste and IT devices have been processed, we can provide a certificate of destruction if required for compliance or peace of mind that your data has been securely destroyed.
