InfoMedix Coding Manager is an automated workflow that enables direct access to the Digital Patient Chart and manages communication between clinicians and coders for timely and efficient Clinical Coding, from anywhere. Accurate clinical coding is integral for planning future health services and to maximise revenue opportunities in public and private health services.
Coding Manager allows clinical coders to manage their workflow after patient discharge.
What this healthcare partnership includes:
Document and Data Collection
Upon discharge from hospital or healthcare facility, all medical paperwork is compiled by the onsite records team and prepared for collection by TIMG. The local TIMG branch will collect and transport all the records to our secure facilities for digitisation.
Document preparation
Once onsite with TIMG, we will prepare all documents, by removing staples, post-it notes, clips and binding and will order pages for scanning.
Scanning
Our high-quality scanners have flexible functionality to suit a wide range of document types including; fragile pages, books, odd size pages and double-sided pages.
Post-capture processing
As part of our digitisation service, we are able to assist with document naming and structuring, image optimisation, cataloguing, indexing and pagination. Once scanned, all digital versions of records are uploaded to InfoMedix.
Secure access to digital records
Only healthcare staff with approved security status (based on their roles and responsibilities) can access digital versions of scanned health records, including clinical coders who will be able to access records from any location.
Secure Storage and Destruction Services
Once your documents and records have been successfully digitised, we can offer you a number of storage options including, Archive Box Storage, Cloud Storage and Secure Vault Storage. We also offer secure destruction services which are carried out under strict supervision and in accordance with our Certification and Compliance accreditations.
